Recorded in the beautiful church of Kulhmalahti in Finland , Resonance features the solo percussion of percussionist Janne Tunomi.

Janne is one of those new breed of extremely talented musicians who are equally home playing complex and demanding contemporary classical music, tradional music as well as free improv, and for this opportunity he decided to explore free improvisation, something he is very passionate about

| Finnish percussionist Janne Tuomi’s second FMR release, was recorded in a studio located in a 100-years old cowhouse that has 1-meter thick stone-walls in Old-Ulvila, on the west coast of Finland. Over two spellbinding recording, Tuomi demonstrates his controlled grasp of his oeuvre. All the effects are created using old analogue devices, operated manually during mixing, leaving the music as a whole, organic and beautifully crafted recording. |
